“Through faith we understand that the worlds were framed by the word of God, so that things which are seen were not made of things which do appear.”
Hebrews 11:3
He gives us examples of men who God declared righteous as they framed their worlds through faith; he continues to Enoch:
“By faith Enoch was translated that he should not see death; and was not found, because God had translated him: for before his translation he had this testimony, that he pleased God.” Hebrews 11:5
God translated Enoch, and earlier on the word of God had said something unique about Enoch:
“And Enoch walked with God: and he was not; for God took him.” Genesis 5:24
It takes faith to walk with a God that cannot be seen; meaning that he lived his life in agreement with God and not with people, their fleshly desires or societal acceptable norms etc:
“Can two walk together, except they be agreed?” Amos 3:3
And his decision to agree with God irrespective and walk with a being he could not see, was rewarded by God. When no one is watching, do you still agree with God and stick with him?
