“He staggered not at the promise of God through unbelief; but was strong in faith, giving glory to God;”
Romans 4:20

What has God said? Side with him. Always side with God against the world because time and time again, God reigns, God wins, God remains right.
What has he said about your future?
What has he said about how he guides your life?
We can garner from what he told the children of Judah:
“For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, saith the LORD, thoughts of peace, and not of evil, to give you an expected end.” Jeremiah 29:11
Remember at this point, Prophet Jeremiah was writing to those taken captive from Judah to Babylon (Jeremiah’s 29:1), this was a time of punishment, yet in their rebellion and captivity, God was still thinking of them. They were in Babylon, and God had plans for them, how much more those of us in Christ Jesus.
“According as he hath chosen us in him before the foundation of the world, that we should be holy and without blame before him in love… to the praise of the glory of his grace, wherein he hath made us accepted in the beloved.” Ephesians 1:4-6
