Happy New Year!!!

We are grateful to God for a glorious crossover from the year 2021 into the year 2022. At the crossover service, we had ample opportunity to give thanks to God for the year 2021 and to rejoice in anticipation of the glorious things he has planned for us in the year 2022, we also received his word to and for us that has set us on course for an awesome and fulfilling year.

Pastor began by sharing how God brought the children of Israel out of Egypt through various signs and wonders, they had been slaves in Egypt for over four hundred years and had gotten so used to slavery that when Moses approached Pharaoh to ask for their freedom and Pharoah increased their daily task as a result, they were angry with Moses, when they eventually left and got to the Red Sea with the Egyptians pursuing behind, they complained and murmured against Moses saying that they would have preferred to continue living their lives as slaves. However, God saved them by his mighty hand and in Exodus 12:1-2, he gave them an important charge, he told them that that month would be to them a beginning of months, the first month of the year, in saying that, he was marking a new phase in their lives, a departure from the past four hundred years of slavery.

With this, Pastor declared 2022 as the year of New Beginnings, a year that would mark new phases in our lives, a year in which we would experience new beginnings in our walk with God, in our relationships and in our finances, she prophesied that many of us would start new relationships and new projects in the new year, getting new jobs and new opportunities and we received the word with faith and excitement in our spirits.
