“Therefore  if  any  man  be  in  Christ,  he  is  a  new  creature: old  things  are  passed  away;  behold,  all  things  are  become  new.”   2  Corinthians  5:17

Now that  you  are  new,  it’s  time  to  find  out  some  of  your features.  When  you  study  God’s  word,  you  would  begin to  realize  what  you  are  now  about;  who  you  are  and what  you  have: 
“For  he  hath  made  him  to  be  sin  for  us,  who  knew  no sin;  that  we  might  be  made  the  righteousness  of  God  in him.”  2  Corinthians  5:21 
He  made  Jesus  sin,  so  you  might  be  made  righteousness.  The  question  is,  ‘has  Jesus  been  made  sin?’  If  he has,  then  you  have  been  made  righteousness.  If  you wanted  to  buy  oranges,  you  would  have  to  pay  a  certain amount.  If  you  have  paid  the  amount,  then  you  should have  your  oranges. 
Jesus  was  made  sin  completely  and  very  well;  there  was nothing  righteous  about  him  on  the  cross.  You,  this  new man,  have  been  made  righteousness-  the  righteousness of  God-  completely  and  very  well;  there  is  nothing  sinful about  you. 
If  you  keep  talking  about  the  old  you  “oh  I  have  a  bad habit  of  so  and  so”,  that  would  be  your  reality.  Why  not behold  the  new  things  you  have  “oh  I  have  the  life  of God  in  me” and  walk  in  God’s  will  for  you  forever!
