“And  I  will  make  thy  seed  to  multiply  as  the  stars  of  heaven, and  will  give  unto  thy  seed  all  these  countries;  and  in  thy seed  shall  all  the  nations  of  the  earth  be  blessed;” Genesis  26:4

God  has  a  purpose  for  your  life  and  it  is  a  big  one!  He  has  set already  the  people,  materials  and  circumstances  for  you  to fulfill  his  plan  for  your  life  gallantly: 
“Who hath saved  us,  and  called  us  with  an  holy  calling,  not according  to  our  works,  but  according  to  his  own  purpose and  grace,  which  was  given  us  in  Christ  Jesus  before  the world  began,”  2  Timothy  1:9 
Knowing  this,  live  your  life  based  on  his  word  to  you  and  not what  the  multitude  thinks,  we  have  examples  of  how  because  children  of  God  acted  like  the  multitude  they  displeased  God  and  some  died. 
The  bible  says  that  there  was  famine  in  Gerar  and  Isaac  had sought  to  go  to  Egypt,  naturally,  where  you  have  a  famine, there  is  no  hope  for  productivity  or  increase  at  all-  today,  we might  not  see  famine  as  they  saw  those  days,  it  could  be economic  hardship,  seeming  lack  of  business  customers  or flow  of  cash  and  you  might  be  tempted  to  change  location like  your  family,  friends,  colleagues  have  done,  but  knowing God’s  purpose  for  your  life,  don’t  be  in  a  haste. 
“And  the  LORD appeared  unto  him,  and  said,  Go  not  down into  Egypt;  dwell  in  the  land  which  I  shall  tell  thee  of:”  Genesis  26:2
Before Isaac  left,  God  told  him  to  stay  in  the  unproductive land  and  dwell  there-  that  should  be  termed  making  a  bad investment,  but  when  God  gives  an  instruction,  get  excited, the  results  are  sure!  The  bible  says: 
“Then  Isaac  sowed  in  that  land,  and  received  in  the  same year  an  hundredfold:  and  the  LORD  blessed  him.  And  the man waxed great,  and  went forward,  and  grew  until  he  became very  great:  For  he  had  possession  of  flocks,  and  possession  of  herds,  and  great  store  of  servants:  and  the  Philistines  envied  him.”  Genesis  26:12-14
The famine  didn’t  have  to  stop  for  Isaac  to  prosper,  he  was the  seed  of  Abraham.  Stop  waiting  and  complaining  that something  is  wrong  with  your  location,  there  is  something in  you  that  would  cause  you  to  flourish  irrespective  of  where  you  find  yourself.
