The special KickStart 2020 service in Love Haven Church Port Harcourt was remarkably successful and life changing!

“Through faith we understand that the worlds were framed by the word of God, so that things which are seen were not made of things which do appear” Hebrews 11:3

Pastor showed us how the different dispensations and events were framed by the word of God, only items that can be affected by external factors are framed for safe keeping, and if God framed the worlds (ages), it means the ages and events therein can be affected by external factors and he framed them to ensure no matter the sudden changes, his plans and purposes would come to fruition. In same light, knowing that our life events & plans can be altered by external factors, we can have our lives framed; secured from the influence of external factors. The birth, death and resurrection of Jesus were examples of events that God had framed and despite the how those that came for his arrest were knocked down by the power of God- “As soon then as he had said unto them, I am he, they went backward, and fell to the ground” John 18:6- Jesus knew the events had been framed so he waited for them to get up and arrest him!

“Whether Paul, or Apollos, or Cephas, or the world, or life, or death, or things present, or things to come; all are yours” 1 Corinthians 3:22

Pastor emphasized that the “world”, “things things to come- the future” is ours, meaning we have the ability to control and frame the events that happens in our life.

She also pointed out that word framed is from the Greek “kartatizo” which can also be rendered “repair”.

And so by the word of God we can repair and fix events that have happened in our lives, just like God recreated the world in Genesis 1:2-3, even though it was without form and void, if it seems the future is without form and void, it can fixed and framed in God’s glory through the word of God that you speak.

“And base things of the world, and things which are despised, hath God chosen, yea, and things which are not, to bring to nought things that are” 1 Corinthians 1:28

Pastor concluded by showing us how God uses things unseen (the word) to bring to nothing those things that are seen, that means in our lives, since we already have his word, we can take from his word and apply to our lives to remove those habits and challenges we don’t want anymore.
