“And for their sakes I sanctify myself, that they also might be sanctified through the truth.”
John 17:19
Jesus told us he had chosen to be different and his difference would be found in the word, this means anyone- including him- who sides with God’s word would never be put to shame.
The word of God is life, siding with the word is siding with life. Always remember this.
“Being born again, not of corruptible seed, but of incorruptible, by the word of God, which liveth and abideth for ever.” 1 Peter 1:23
The word would outlast every popular opinion, he is incorruptible, he doesn’t have it in him to be obsolete.
“Beautiful for situation, the joy of the whole earth…” Psalms 48:2
The one who sides with the word would be relevant in all generations for all situations and would always be filled with the joy that comes from the righteousness of the word.
“These things have I spoken unto you, that my joy might remain in you, and that your joy might be full.” John 15:11
Side with the word always.
