“For this is the love of God, that we keep his commandments: and his commandments are not grievous.”  1 John 5:3

Do you believe in the name of Jesus to save? If you do, what are you doing about what you believe?
The Apostles did:
They thought there was no other name with which men could be saved from the damnation of hell.
“Neither is there salvation in any other: for there is none other name under heaven given among men, whereby we must be saved.”  Acts 4:12
They thought in the name of Jesus, a man could be saved from paralysis and be made strong and given perfect soundness in health:
“And his name through faith in his name hath made this man strong, whom ye see and know: yea, the faith which is by him hath given him this perfect soundness in the presence of you all.”  Acts 3:16
They thought in the name of Jesus, death did not have to be the last bus stop:
“But Peter put them all forth, and kneeled down, and prayed; and turning him to the body said, Tabitha, arise. And she opened her eyes: and when she saw Peter, she sat up.”  Acts 9:40
They didn’t mind giving their lives as long as they could announce the gospel in that glorious name!
“And they called them, and commanded them not to speak at all nor teach in the name of Jesus. But Peter and John answered and said unto them, Whether it be right in the sight of God to hearken unto you more than unto God, judge ye.” Acts 4:18-19
Now we find out that believing the name is not an option, neither is it a suggestion- it’s a command, we have been gloriously commanded to believe the name for our lives and our future; here on earth and in heaven. Believe the name!
