“Bless them which persecute you: bless, and curse not.” Romans 12:14

Here is a prophecy about Jesus:
“He will not argue or shout; no one will hear his voice in the streets.” Matthew 12:19, ERV
So he didn’t shout on the streets; you wouldn’t have found him in a shouting match with his detractors, even when they were willing provocateurs:
“…the scribes and the Pharisees began to urge him vehemently, and to provoke him to speak of many things: Laying wait for him, and seeking to catch something out of his mouth, that they might accuse him.” Luke 11:53-54
In fact when it came to, he left the scene before it became violent:
“Then took they up stones to cast at him: but Jesus hid himself, and went out of the temple, going through the midst of them, and so passed by.” John 8:59
Even though, he had so many followers that made his detractors concerned: John 12:19
He asked:
“…learn of me; for I am meek and lowly in heart: and ye shall find rest unto your souls.” Matthew 11:29
It is in such meekness not turbulence that you truly would find rest.
