“(For we walk by faith, not by sight:)”
2 Corinthians 5:7
The bible also tells us:
“But if we walk in the light, as he is in the light, we have fellowship one with another, and the blood of Jesus Christ his Son cleanseth us from all sin.” 1 John 1:7
God expects us to walk in the same light as he lives in; and since the word of God is light, it means God lives in the light of his word- he sees and judges all situations by himself and he is his word!
Our walk of faith isn’t a nice suggestion but God’s expectation- that we make decisions solely based on the word and when we do, his promise to us is two fold: fellowship and sinlessness:
“…we have fellowship one with another, and the blood of Jesus Christ his Son cleanseth us from all sin.”
That’s the point of truly fellowshipping with God, where you can see as he sees and make like decisions as him and minimize mistakes to zero. All you have to do is to agree with what he has said about you, the situation and your future in the word:
“Can two walk together, except they be agreed?” Amos 3:3
