“(For we walk by faith, not by sight:)”
2 Corinthians 5:7

Jesus told us:
“…In the world ye shall have tribulation: but be of good cheer; I have overcome the world.” John 16:33
So there would be challenges in the world; he promises us that but then he tells us, he already overcame those challenges for us- meaning we aren’t expected to battle anymore but to remain standing, fully aware that no matter how ferocious they might seem, they are already defeated and overwhelmed! It takes some faith to do that. No wonder he tells us:
“For whatsoever is born of God overcometh the world: and this is the victory that overcometh the world, even our faith.” 1 John 5:4
Faith IS THE victory, if you lose faith, you lose the victory and that means the challenge would overwhelm you. This is why you must put God’s word before you always, that way you are never moved by your carnal senses; there’s only one end promised to the man who ignores the word and goes with his guts: Romans 8:6
Giving yourself to the word daily, is arming yourself for life: Ephesians 6:13
