“And of his fulness have all we received, and grace for grace.”
John 1:16

Jesus told us:
“…learn of me…” Matthew 11:29
And he made clear what he wanted us to learn about him:
“…for I am meek and lowly in heart…” Matthew 11:29
He didn’t stop there, he also said:
“For my yoke is easy, and my burden is light.” Matthew 11:30
The word “Chrestos” translated “easy” can also be rendered “good”, “gracious” or “kind”, meaning he is yoked, burdened to be good and kind to others, not burdened to retaliate and he says that’s what he wants us to learn of him.
Earlier in that chapter he had said this:
“All things are delivered unto me of my Father: and no man knoweth the Son, but the Father; neither knoweth any man the Father, save the Son, and he to whomsoever the Son will reveal him.” Matthew 11:27
And so in revealing the father to us (John 10:30), this is what he wants us to see and how he wants us to live- meek, lowly, burdened to be good and kind to all, and why not? This is what you are made up of now that you are in Christ:
“And I myself also am persuaded of you, my brethren, that ye also are full of goodness…” Romans 15:14
