“While we look not at the things which are seen, but at the things which are not seen: for the things which are seen are temporal; but the things which are not seen are eternal.”
2 Corinthians 4:18

To effect a change and walk in God’s glory, you have to decide to look away from that which is seen (and antithetical to God’s will), and instead focus on God’s word.
This means you would have to pass up many opportunities to be bothered about what you can see and instead give thanks for the word of God that cannot be seen but would influence that which you see, just like Abraham:
“And being not weak in faith, he considered not his own body now dead, when he was about an hundred years old, neither yet the deadness of Sarah’s womb: He staggered not at the promise of God through unbelief; but was strong in faith, giving glory to God;” Romans 4:19-20
Just like the Apostle Paul: “WHILE WE LOOK NOT at the things which are seen, but at the things which are not seen…” 2 Corinthians 4:18
Just like Jesus:
“And he cometh to the house of the ruler of the synagogue, and seeth the tumult, and them that wept and wailed greatly. And when he was come in, he saith unto them, Why make ye this ado, and weep? the damsel is not dead, but sleepeth. And they laughed him to scorn. But when he had put them all out…” Mark 5:38-40
